Will you import thousands of images?
No, we do not import thousands of images (or any image). We make sure images are served from your MLS so your server is not overcrowded by thousands of images.
Will my local MLS work with MLS Import?
The MLS Import plugin can connect to and import data from all RESO-ready MLSs and Realtor.ca Web API (https://ddfapi-docs.realtor.ca/ . Please contact us for more information.
How many listings can I import?
You control which listings to import and how many, and you can use special filters to select the properties you want. The import is recommended for clients who need to import specific properties. Check this help too - https://mlsimport.com/how-to-create-an-mls-website/
Can I cancel my MLS Import purchase?
Yes, you can cancel MLS Import at any time. Subscriptions are month-to-month. But if you cancel, keep in mind your MLS connection will shut down.
What does the $49 recurring fee include?
For the $49 monthly fee you get the full package needed to run and update MLS Import successfully, with no work from your end:

• We adapt MLS IMPORT to supported themes updates (*please see the list compatible with our product).
• We adapt MLS Import to RESO and dictionary standards changes.
• We adapt MLS Import software to any server configuration changes that happen on MLS end.
• We do any bug fixing required in MLS Import.
• We help with plugin updates on your website when updates are available.
• We offer Client Support on MLS Import related issues.

Your hosting and any MLS fees are separate. Ask for a quote before work starts if your request goes beyond plugin support. Name the job, such as a new page design, a hosting move or a change to where leads go.

How quickly can I get MLS IMPORT Plugin running?
To install and import listings from MLS to your website can take just few hours, depending on the volume of data you wish to publish.

However, since our plugins is based on RESO API access, each client must get access to the API server data directly from his desired MLS. Only registered members can get access to such data and they must contact their MLS personally to be given the specific credentials.  This part of the process can take 1 or more days, depending on each MLS.

For a step-by-step look at what happens after approval, see how long it takes from MLS approval to live listings.
What are the server requirements?
You will need PHP 7 (minimum) to run MLS Import.

Some MLS associations can have 100k listings. To use your chosen theme design and features seamlessly, we have to import the data into your database. Images will not be imported! They are displayed from MLS server. However, having a large database can increase the stress on your server.

Because of that, your hosting should be prepared to showcase thousands of listings. A dedicated VPS or server is recommended if you plan to publish thousands of listings.
Is MLS Import SEO friendly?
MLS import helps you create a SEO friendly real estate website by allowing you to manage the content of your site.

With your Real Estate theme you manage your properties with all the available features.
How do I search properties with MLS Import?
MLS import will import the properties into your WordPress Real Estate theme as if you would add them manually.

Once the properties are imported, you are free to use your Real Estate theme features and configure search as instructed in each theme documentation.
Can I use multiple MLS?
Unfortunately this is not possible. MLS Import allows you to connect to 1 MLS only via API.
Can I use MLS import and add other properties separately?
YES, you can add extra listings manually when you use MLS Import and all your properties will use the same theme templates, search, design, functions, etc.
What kind of support do I get?
We offer complete assistance to integrate MLS Import with your Real Estate site and import properties from your MLS to your WordPress theme (*only for the themes compatible).

You will get our full assistance while your MLS import purchase is active to use, configure and import properties from your MLS.
What should we check before trusting IDX support with our live brokerage website?
Check who will help when listings stop showing up, when that person works, and how your site gets fixed. Get those answers in writing. With MLS Import, you can check the support answers on this page, book a setup call, and test your own listings before you rely on the feed.
When can we reach a real person at MLS Import?
MLS Import's contact page lists Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern. It says replies usually come within four working hours and within one business day. A reply time is not a promise that your site will be fixed in that time.

Ask what happens outside those hours. Get a written answer for weekends and holidays before you set your office's plan. See contact hours and ways to reach us.
What happens if our listings stop showing up on Saturday?
Ask MLS Import to confirm who would respond on Saturday, how to flag the problem, and when you would hear back. The weekday hours and usual reply times do not settle those questions. Do not plan around a weekend fix until you have a clear written answer.

Ask the same question about a form that stops sending leads. Name your MLS, website theme and the tool that gets your leads so the answer covers your setup.
Who handles the fix if our host, theme or MLS is involved?
Agree who will lead the fix before your site goes live. MLS Import can investigate the plugin and listing import. Your host, theme maker or MLS may need to act too. Ask who will contact each party and who will keep your office informed.

Write down one contact for each part of the site. Ask who may approve a change and who can put the site back if that change causes a problem.
Can we test the setup before we rely on it?
Yes. Your account lets you book a one-hour setup call. Use the call to connect your MLS and work through the import.

Test a new listing, a price change and a listing that leaves the market. On a phone, check search, listing pages and lead forms. Send a test lead through to its final inbox or contact system. See setup calls and support tickets.
How do we report a problem on our live site?
Open a private support ticket from your MLS Import account. Include the page address, what you clicked, what happened and one MLS number. For a listing that is not updating, name the field, such as price, status or photos.

Say that the site is live. State what buyers cannot do and when it last worked. Follow the issue report steps for logs and temporary website access. Remove temporary access when the work ends.
What proof should we ask for before launch?
Ask for a working site on your MLS and theme, then test it yourself. A live example shows how search works. It does not prove how fast support will fix an outage. Ask the site owner about a real support case and how it ended.

Use live sites by MLS and theme to find examples. Keep your own test results and written support answers with your launch plan.
Can I import my agent/agency listings only?
Yes, you can configure MLS import so that you import only your listings as agent or agency. If you have multiple agents, you can create a different MLS import for each agent.
Will imported properties be duplicated?
The import will not duplicate properties. MLS Import checks each property unique id during import. If the property ID already exists, it only updates the listing (not duplicates it).
Can I do multiple imports?
Sure. If you want to make 2 or multiple separate imports, it’s possible. The previous imports are saved and safe.
Can I import all MLS listings?
You can import all MLS listings with status Active, Active under Contract, Closed, Pending  and Coming soon.
How often are properties updated?
MLS Import checks in your MLS if there are changes added to your listings hourly. If there are modifications made, MLS Import automatically syncs your imported properties to your MLS data.
What happens to expired MLS Listings?
MLS Import checks and deletes daily properties AND their attachments when MLS changes the MLS Status to one of these below:

• Closed
• Deleted
• Expired
• Withdrawn

MLS Import also deletes the properties deleted from the MLS
Why does MLSImport say “You are not connected to MLSImport” or “The connection to your MLS was not successful”
If you see these messages when setting up the plugin, first make sure you are using your MLSImport username, not your account email address, in the plugin settings. The plugin connects using the MLSImport account username and password. You can see this step in the setup video here: Watch the setup video.
